2025 Conductor - Cheryl MiracleCheryl Miracle was born and raised in Hales Corners, a small suburb near Milwaukee, where she fell in love with playing the Horn at age 10. That love evolved into a desire to teach music. Cheryl completed her undergraduate Music Education and Spanish degrees at UW-Whitewater in 1999. Later, she earned her Masters in Music Education at UW-Milwaukee in 2006. 

Ms. Miracle has taught band and general music in the Franklin Public Schools and Glendale-River Hills Public Schools for 26 years. She has guest conducted various middle level bands including the NBA Middle Level Honor Band, UWM Middle School Honors Band,  and at the UW-Whitewater Band Camp. Cheryl has taught private horn lessons and is the band coordinator for the WSMA Middle Level State Honors Band. Ms. Miracle is a Nationally Board Certified music teacher and has also served as cooperating teacher to students from UW-Milwaukee, Cardinal Stritch, and UW-Whitewater.

Cheryl Miracle likes to spend her free time on her small farm breeding chickens, gardening, and keeping honey bees. She also enjoyed traveling and cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers with her husband, Mike Beix, who is also a music educator in Yorkville.
