About Ms. Lechner:
As a Wisconsin native I am happy to be moving back to my home state where I first started teaching 7 years ago! However, I still loved the last 5 years of teaching Middle School band in Byron Minnesota. I play many instruments, but I have been playing alto saxophone since I was in 5th grade and electric bass since February 2023. I am the youngest of 4 siblings and I am currently saving up money to adopt a dog (…or 3). I am so excited to be back home in Sun Prairie and teaching band at Central Heights! |
About Mr. Melrose:
I'm super excited to begin our 3rd year in Central Heights Band (year sixteen in SP!). I also live in Sun Prairie with my awesome wife Cindy and three kids. My main instrument is tuba and in the summers I play sousaphone all around Wisconsin in a traditional New Orleans Jazz group. I also love to play sports, read books, hang with my kids, and teach and make music. |
