SOSP Gives Back 2015:
 - Handcrafted Notecards to benefit

Picture
For the past 3 years SOSP has taken time from it's schedule to think beyond themselves and give back to the greater community.  In 2013 & 2014 we raised over $3,500 for the Sunshine Place here in Sun Prairie.

SOSP "Gives Back 2015"
This year we are teaming up with Jay Stock and Woven Journey to sell handcrafted notecards to friends, family, neighbors, and area businesses. The cards each contain a hand-crafted yellow-bud flower that is pressed into each card.  What's even better - the folks that press the flowers are people in the SP community temporarily out of work and using this to help support their income.   To learn more, check the above video.

SOSP's mission for 2015, Between June 22 & June 30th:
1. GOAL = each SOSP family to sell 3 - 10 packs of cards   (1 pack = $27.50)
  • Students will be given a sample card & order form on Monday 6/22
  • Checks are payable to SPBB (Sun Prairie Band Boosters)
  • Considering email close family, friends, business, and neighbors, by using our sample letter HERE
  • Order Forms Due to Mr. Melrose by Tuesday June 30th
2. FINANCIALS
  • For each pack of cards sold, $5 is donated to the Sunshine Place.  Additionally, for each pack sold $5 is added to each students band ledger for the 2015-2016 school year.
  • Families can elect to have all $10 donated to the Sunshine Place if desired, simply mark as such on the order form
  • 2015 Seniors can elect to have all $10 go toward the Sunshine Place or $5 to Sunshine & $5 to SPBB General Fund
3. We'll also be selling the cards at our 3 home SOSP events
No student ledger donation, all $10 donated to Sunshine Place
