For years, the Sun Prairie Band Booster Chuckwagon Truck has done so much more than pull the Chuckwagon trailer used by the Sound of Sun Prairie to feed its members when they travel. Outside of marching band season it regularly hauls band equipment to and from 6th-12th grade band performances throughout southern Wisconsin. In fact, the Chuckwagon truck & trailer are used just as much outside marching band season as it is inside the season!
All that use on this 1997 Chevy truck has taken its toll. The wear and tear of multiple trips to Canada, Michigan, and throughout Wisconsin have made it more costly to maintain and repair than its worth. So, it’s time for a new truck!
Current and former band families are asked to think about the numerous opportunities the band program in the Sun Prairie School District has been able to provide your band member over the years. Put simply, without the Chuckwagon we would not have one of the finest band programs in the state. Now is your chance to make sure that legacy continues.
Not only will all gifts made to our truck fund be tax deductible, but they will also be matched, dollar-for-dollar by the Sun Prairie Band Boosters. Your $50 gift becomes $100 thanks to the Band Boosters! If every band family gives a little, we'll be able to reach our goal.
