Jazz at Lincoln Center Radio will feature Essentially Ellington during the month of May with a special broadcast highlighting last year's Competition & Festival in New York. The hour-long broadcast includes performances by the top three placing bands at the 2007 Festival - Roosevelt High School from Seattle, WA, Agoura High School Studio Jazz from Agoura Hills, CA and Foxboro High School from Foxboro, MA - as well as interviews with students, directors and members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. It is scheduled to air on public radio stations nationwide between May 10th and 24th. For more information and a list of stations click here.
